On June 30, 2026 “Peter Alexander” would celebrate his 100th birthday – unfortunately he already passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Vienna.
What might not be known by many people is, that Peter Alexander also was a jazzfan and when young a fond listener of the Blue Danube Network. So it is no wonder that he wrote a letter to the famous BDN DJ Mickey Kaplan to not only vote for his favourite bands Gene Krupa and Artie Shaw but also to apply at the station – just read yourself….
